Sams Valley, Oregon sits peacefully along Oregon Route 234 just northeast of Gold Hill and Medford, Oregon. Originally named, "Moonville", after Andrew Moon, Sams Valley is named after Chief Sam of the Rogue River tribe. The quiet city has deep roots leading back to the late 1800's where the ideal climate produced grains, vegetables and other products for miners and workers. The beautiful land consisting of ranches, orchards, vineyards and farms still plays host to many generations and families.
